Don Bleek is an American journalist, fashion blogger and media personality. Originally from South Jersey, Don Bleek moved to NYC to pursue a career in media and entertainment after graduating Magna Cum Laude from the prestigious Rutgers University, with a B.A. in Journalism and Media Studies and a concentration on Africana Studies.
During his senior year at Rutgers, Don Bleek interned at XXL Magazine under the direction of Taiia Smart Young, who now serves as the Executive Editor of JuicyMagazine. After completing his internship with XXL, Don Bleek went on to intern at Global Grind and Complex before becoming a contributor online writer for Hip Hop Weekly.
After taking various internships and being a contributor writer, Don Bleek decided to launch his own website, www.donbleek.com. He quickly made a name for himself on the NYC music, fashion and entertainment scene a few months after the launch of his website. He used the site as a way to network and parlay his way into exclusive industry events.
www.donbleek.com is a fashion and lifestyle site that provides the latest celeb trends in entertainment, music and sports for its young, African-American audience.
Through the relationships that he developed while working with the site, Don Bleek was offered a digital marketing/consultant position at Universal Music Group/Republic Records. During his time there, he worked on artists marketing for The Weeknd, Kelly Rowland, Kid Cudi, Austin Mahone, 3 Doors Down, Angel Haze, Gotye, Youngblood Hawke, Avett Brothers, ZZ Top, Busta Rhymes, DJ Khaled and RDGLDGRN.
Don Bleek is currently the Editor-In-Chief and Founder of www.donbleek.com. His primary focus is running his website and building his brand.
